This is a fictional movie called Rosie that is based off of the nursery rhyme 'ring around the rosie.' For this project, I created a basis for a movie with the genre of Dark Comedy, about a girl named Rosie who finds out she is dying. Having been on the straight and narrow all her life, not the kind to be a rule breaker, she uses this terrible news as a new lease on life. To portray this film I decided to go with a very basic line drawing with cheerful colors, an effect used in many indie films as well. The subject matter was the hardest to decide upon, but after careful consideration, I found the perfect balance between death and life.
